Job Summary

A technology solutions company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Network Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide Tier III support to Operations in support of the WAN service
  • Provide recommendations to Operations
  • Respond to problem (architecture and design level) tickets associated with WAN/LAN

Position Requirements Include:

  • Travel Required: Yes, 10% of the time
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years of IT related experience
  • Must hold current DOD 8570 IAT III Certification
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance
  • Proven understanding of wireless architecture and CISCO wireless technologies
  • Strong Wireless Network Troubleshooting and configuration skills
  • Experience with CISCO Switching: STP, RSTP, MST, LAN tuning / protection, VTP
