Job Summary

A technology services provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Network Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks
  • Installing, configuring, and upgrading routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc
  • Dealing with escalated network support issues

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field experience
  • Advanced knowledge of network operating systems
  • 3+ years of experience working within Telco, ISP, CLEC, or MSP/CSP enterprise environments
  • Knowledge of networking hardware including make/models, wiring, and interoperability
  • Proven experience with dynamic routing
  • Familiarity with network analysis tools and ability to analyze packet captures
