Job Summary
A community-based financial institution has a current position open for a Remote Senior Network Security Engineer in Rockford.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing security related controls/policies
- Reviewing alerts escalated by Level 2 analysts
- Perform analysis of log files including forensic analysis of system resource access
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Related Field
- Security+ & Network+ certifications
- Experience with security assessment tools (Ex. NMAP, ISS, Nessus, Metasploit, Netcat)
- Experience using Cisco’s CSA agents
- Understanding of common network services (web, mail, FTP, etc), network vulnerabilities, and network attack patterns
- Specific knowledge of any of the following personal firewalls or host ids: Cisco CSA, Dragon HIDS, Sygate, Blackice, IBM RealSecure, Tripwire
