Job Summary

A home loan provider has an open position for a Remote Senior Non Delegated Underwriter in Dallas.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Perform 2nd level underwriting and escalation reviews
  • Act as team lead by stepping in during staff absences and ensuring efficiency
  • Review highly complex applications for completeness and update data in LOS to ensure data integrity

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of mortgage banking underwriting experience
  • VA LAPP SAR designations
  • FHA DE Designation
  • Previous experience working with AUS and LOS Systems
  • Previous experience with manual underwriting (downgrades)
