Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Nurse Medical Manager I or II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring medically appropriate, high quality, cost effective care
- Applying clinical knowledge to ensure medical necessity of billed service
- Working with medical directors in interpreting appropriateness of care and accurate payment
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Current active unrestricted RN license to practice as a health professional
- 2 years clinical RN experience
- 2 years of experience with medical records claims review
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Experience using electronic documentation and using multiple computer screens
- Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
