Job Summary
A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Nutritional Consultant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Provide nutritional counseling and patient education to positively impact health outcomes for members
- Ensure patient understanding of nutritional goals and objectives
- Review the dietary needs of identified patients by using 3-day food diary, assessments, and other available tools
Qualifications for this position include:
- Requires an RD
- Certified Diabetes Educator preferred
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience with telephonic outreach, motivational interviewing, patient education/counseling in nutrition
- 3 years of experience counseling individuals regarding nutritional/dietary management issues related to chronic disease
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
