Job Summary

A software technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Open Source Software Engineer in San Francisco.

Must be able to:

  • Work on internals of multiple existing open-source Node.js projects, debug pressing issues, and implement new features
  • Develop entire new open-source Node.js projects with mix of maturity, helping provide prototypes as well as production-ready solutions
  • Create & iterate upon collections that employ a variety of APIs, including pre-request & post-request Node.js scripts

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors’ degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with open-source software
  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and/or Typescript in either Node.js or the browser
  • Strong experience in producing and consuming APIs across different use cases
