Job Summary
A cloud communications company has an open position for a Remote Senior Optical Business Development Professional.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Representing and shaping Optical solution portfolio and business direction for the Americas Region
- Representing the portfolio vision and direction outbound to key customers
- Representing inbound the requirements for competitive differentiation and market captures in the Americas region
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 10 years of previous optical networking vendor experience in product management
- Business development, and/or technical marketing experience
- Working knowledge of key building-block technologies
- Experience holding interactive, consultative interactions with service providers to understand their needs
- Excellent at dialoguing and negotiating with product management teams on the competitive merits of release roadmap trade-offs
- Able to think about network architectures and costs
