Job Summary
A non-profit organization has a current position open for a Remote Senior or Lead Emerging Technologies DevOps Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Creating roadmaps and stories for deployment and automation
- Leading others to automate the provisioning of application environments including servers, containers, network, and monitoring
- Providing direction for software development teams to understand and provision the necessary infrastructure to run their applications
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Thought leader and subject matter expert on future technologies used for automation and continuous delivery
- Knowledge of Linux administration, relational databases, database tuning, and performance testing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related area OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible IT experience
- Experience using AWS Cloud Services, and SQL, mySQL, or Postgres
