Job Summary

A consulting company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Oracle Applications Database Administrator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting the company's pre-sales and architecture team with new implementations and upgrades
  • Working in different environments using recent technologies
  • Providing accurate and realistic effort estimates

Required Skills:

  • Travel: 40-50% of the time
  • Knowledge of the company's e-business suite
  • Knowledge of the company's Middleware application
  • Experience as an Oracle DBA vs 11g or 12c
  • Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture
  • Experienced with implementations and upgrades, and strong performance tuning skills
  • Expert level knowledge with RMAN Oracle RAC, Data Guard, partitioning, compression and Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • BS or BA in Computer Science or Business Management
