Job Summary
Serving as a dedicated advocate for health plan members, the full-time Remote Senior Outreach Specialist will manage communication, build relationships with agencies, and ensure accurate application processes while navigating the Social Security disability system.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for health plan members, providing support and clarifying complex information
- Maintain positive relationships with medical providers and government agencies to facilitate application processes
- Gather, verify, and submit necessary documentation to ensure complete and accurate disability benefit applications
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, with a preference for social services or case management
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages
- Detail-oriented with a goal-driven mindset and a willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to navigate multiple software systems
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
