Job Summary

A company that develops virtual reality applications and virtual worlds is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Payments Counsel.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Work on matters pertaining to money transmitter licenses, including applying for licenses, renewing licenses & filing regulatory reports
• Assist with coordination and preparation for state and federal regulatory exams
• Provide legal support for payments initiatives, including product counseling and negotiating commercial agreements

Skills and Requirements Include:

• 5+ years of payments experience at a nationally recognized law firm, financial services company, or financial regulator
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with regulatory requirements of licensed money transmitters
• Experience interacting with federal and state financial regulators
• Demonstrated experience counseling clients on payment products, including payment processing and stored value wallets
• Ability to multi-task and re-order priorities
• Work well under pressure, independently, and on a team
