Job Summary
A job search and recruiting website is in need of a Remote Senior Payroll Accountant.
Must be able to:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll, including but not limited to salary, equity, bonus, benefits and taxes
- Partner with payroll vendors to ensure wage payments, payroll taxes and garnishments are accurately processed and reported to the related agencies for US and international payroll
- Effectively resolve issues encountered by team or reported by employees
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Finance / Tax / Accounting (or similar field)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive payroll and/or accounting experience
- Expert knowledge of accounting concepts and ability to reconcile payroll accounts
- Strong organizational and planning skills, able to work reliably and efficiently under demanding deadlines, with minimal supervision, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Workday payroll and time tracking system and NetSuite, strongly preferred
