Job Summary
A health insurance company is seeking a Remote Senior Pharmacist Consultant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Provide evaluation of member’s Rx needs and therapies
- Assess member compliance with plan through direct contact with members and physicians
- Determine potential barriers to compliance and identify solutions
Position Requirements Include:
- Current unrestricted license from the state in which candidate resides
- At least 2 years' clinical experience
- Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Strong research and analytical skills as well as communication skills (both written and verbal)
- PharmD preferred
- Experience with direct patient counseling or education, preferred
