Job Summary

A health insurance company is in need of a Remote Senior Pharmacist Consultant.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Assessing member compliance with plan through direct contact with members and their physicians
• Determining potential barriers to compliance and identifying solutions to overcome barriers
• Ensuring that members understand appropriate use of current prescriptions

Required Skills:

• Requires a current unrestricted license from the state in which candidate resides to practice pharmacy as an RPH in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy and at least 2 years clinical experience.
• May require response during non-standard hours
• Must be able to attend full-time dayshift training Monday through Friday for up to one month upon hire
• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Strong research and analytical skills as well as communication skills (both written and verbal)
