Job Summary
A health insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Pharmacist Consultant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assessing member compliance with plan through direct contact with members and their physicians
- Determining potential barriers to compliance and identifying solutions to overcome barriers
- Ensuring that members understand appropriate use of current prescriptions
Position Requirements Include:
- Requires a current unrestricted license from the state in which candidate resides to practice pharmacy as an RPH in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy and at least 2 years clinical experience.
- May require response during non-standard hours
- Must be able to attend full-time dayshift training Monday through Friday for up to one month upon hire
- Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Strong research and analytical skills as well as communication skills (both written and verbal)
