Job Summary
An IT services provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior PHP Developer in Austin.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and developing architecturally sound, modular, component-based software applications
- Developing web-services using SOAP and REST protocols
- Acting as a role model and advocate for best practices around test-driven development
Qualifications for this position include:
- BS degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum Ten (10) years of experience in a relevant technical field
- 8+ years of hands-on experience using the PHP technology stack or equivalent language
- Experience using software build, integration, and packaging tools to enable continuous integration
- Must have knowledge of software development best practices, including test-driven development
- All other requirements necessary for this position
