Job Summary
A public education provider has a current position open for a Remote Senior Platform Back End Engineer in San Francisco.
Must be able to:
- Manage the tech stack, including handling dependency versions and platform major version upgrades
- Work on scalability challenges on production systems
- Design, build and maintain a framework for monitoring, logging, and alerting on the performance of our internal systems
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in backend software development
- Knowledge of basic architecture and systems design principles
- Familiarity with data structures, relational databases (especially Postgres)
- Strong coding and technical architecture skills, with experience shipping production-critical software
