Remote Senior Platform DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
A health services company is seeking a Remote Senior Platform DevOps Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Be a technical consultant for engineering teams to drive best practices for cloud-based architectures
- Identify development methodologies to improve our production practices and efficiency
- Participate in the on-call rotation for the infrastructure layers of our stack
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience with designing, automating, and operating secure and scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Experience with SRE best practices and tooling (New Relic, DataDog, PagerDuty)
- Be excited about mentoring and training early career platform engineers
- Strong knowledge of the AWS platform and technologies per EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and more
- Hands-on experience working in a programming language (Go, Python, JS)
