Job Summary

A nonprofit organization is filling a position for a Remote Senior Platform Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Building and maintaining web services to support the foundation's mission
  • Designing new platform functionality
  • Identifying patterns in developer needs and design new protocols and services

Position Requirements Include:

  • Strong computer science fundamentals
  • 4+ years of experience developing software on a team
  • Experience in supporting production web services at scale
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • You're a language polyglot and have written server applications in languages such as Go, Rust, C#, Java or C++
  • Knowledgeable of existing frameworks and open source tools
