Job Summary
A mortgage company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Post Closing Resolution Underwriter.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage pipeline of credit-related defects to ensure service standards and financial goals are met
- Review and validate accuracy of the defects
- Prepare and analyze monthly trending reporting
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of residential mortgage underwriting experience
- Experience working with Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter and Freddie Mac Loan Prospector
- Extensive Knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC policies and guidelines
- Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products, and underwriting guidelines
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills; consultative and collaborative work style
- High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and learn new systems and platforms
