Job Summary

An IT and computer services company is in need of a Remote Senior Principal Linux System Administrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain file systems and monitor processes
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts and programs to simplify administration tasks
  • Design and secure troubleshooting system utilities and diagnostic equipment

Qualifications Include:

  • B.E./B.Tech or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 year experience in a System Administrator position
  • Experienced with Quality Management methods and philosophies
  • Experience with writing PERL, Python, and Shell scripts
  • Experience with Server Virtualization, TCP/IP, SMTP, SFTP, LDAP, and DNS services
  • All other requirements listed by company
