Job Summary

A software technology company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Principal Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Designs, programs, debugs, and does ongoing modification of software components
  • Develops and/or executes implementation according to project plans and priorities
  • Handles critical customer problems in real-time and developing code fixes or enhancements for future code releases or patches

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors’ degree in CS or related discipline required along with participate in on-call rotation
  • Minimum 8 years developing multithreaded applications utilizing shared state, signaling, and context synchronization preferred
  • Minimum 8 years developing distributed and tiered architectures preferred and 5-year writing code in Microsoft Visual C#
  • Minimum 5 years using Microsoft Visual Studio as an IDE to develop software applications for Microsoft Windows platform preferred
  • Familiarity with telephony technologies (VoIP, SIP, RTP, SIP Rec, CTI) and experience with AWS technologies
  • Experience with DevOps and the Atlassian toolchain (Aha!, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git, Zephyr)
