Job Summary

An information and analytics company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Principal Software Engineer in Raleigh.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Writing well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
  • Building and operating large-scale distributed systems
  • Architecting, building and scaling core company data and enrichment pipelines

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 12 years of software development experience
  • Expertise in Java or C/C++ or Python
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or other technical related field
  • Experience with building durable compute and storage systems
  • Experience in technical leadership, leading projects, and setting technical direction
  • Experience with the Big Data Ecosystem (Mapreduce, Yarn, HDFS, Hive, Parquet etc)
