Remote Senior Privacy and Security Analyst

Job Summary

A clinical data repository company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Privacy and Security Analyst.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Serve as the Primary Incident Manager for Privacy and Security incidents as reported internally or from clients
• Investigate incidents through the entire process lifecycle and collect necessary documentation and evidence
• Oversee Privacy & Security training and awareness program including providing training to staff and consultants on a regular basis

Required Skills:

• A Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Business, Engineering, IT, Healthcare or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least one of the following certifications: CIPP/US, CISSP, or CISM
• Ideally 5 or more years working with a large US-based healthcare organization, ideally in Privacy or Risk Management
• At least 5 years experience auditing user and patient access as it relates to HIPAA
• Familiarity with international privacy legislations such as GDPR and PIPEDA
• Demonstrated ability in creating policies, standards and procedures using the ISO 27001 standard or NIST framework
