Job Summary

A financial technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Privacy Counsel.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Serve as a primary point of contact for business and technical teams on data privacy
Advise Product and Engineering teams on new product features and functionality
Create and maintain key legal and compliance infrastructure such as trainings, playbooks, and policies

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

J.D. degree from an accredited institution and active membership in at least one state bar
5+ years of relevant experience including at least 2 years at a high-growth private company
Ability to work cross-functionally, and play well with non-lawyers
CIPP/US certification preferred
Prior experience and interest in fintech, payments, checkout, digital commerce, and/or crypto
