Job Summary

A pharmaceutical research and consulting firm is in need of a Remote Senior Procurement Manager.

Must be able to:

Develop program and study level third party outsourcing plans
Identify and communicate potential contracting risks to Study Management Team
Monitor progress of VST contracts and mitigating issues or setbacks

Skills and Requirements Include:

Understanding the urgency of time to give vendors appropriate lead time to support the study
Strong understanding of vendor contracting milestones and process
Understanding overall clinical study timelines; what are the major milestones and predecessors
Understanding of clinical vendor service categories; what their scope is and their complexities in study set-up
Understanding minimum specifications and study information to allow engagement with vendors
Strong communication verbally and written; ability to formulate questions and drive action from stakeholders
