Job Summary
A pharmaceutical research and consulting firm is in need of a Remote Senior Procurement Manager.
Must be able to:
- Develop program and study level third party outsourcing plans
- Identify and communicate potential contracting risks to Study Management Team
- Monitor progress of VST contracts and mitigating issues or setbacks
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Understanding the urgency of time to give vendors appropriate lead time to support the study
- Strong understanding of vendor contracting milestones and process
- Understanding overall clinical study timelines; what are the major milestones and predecessors
- Understanding of clinical vendor service categories; what their scope is and their complexities in study set-up
- Understanding minimum specifications and study information to allow engagement with vendors
- Strong communication verbally and written; ability to formulate questions and drive action from stakeholders
