Job Summary

An insurance company is seeking a Remote Senior Python Developer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Engineer, develop, and implement production-grade software (primarily in Python).
  • Create solutions that are scalable and extensible with minimal refactoring
  • Collaborate with external teams to determine business needs using a behavior-driven development framework

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related
  • 4 or more years of in software engineering, data analytics, analytics engineering, and/or data science
  • Expert in Python and SQL programming
  • Experience with writing and executing test plans for various phases of testing
  • Experience with Git and GitLab/GitHub
  • Understanding of software development best practices
