Job Summary

A financial risk management company has an open position for a Remote Senior Python Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working within all areas of the platform
  • Making architectural contributions and decisions
  • Implementing test-driven microservices using modern techniques

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 8+ years of professional python engineering experience in data-intensive environments
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience maintaining and evolving python-based production systems
  • Familiarity with API development, microservices, cloud computing, data mining, and data engineering
  • Experience with or exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform
  • Advanced skills and experience using Python, SQL, Bash and other scripting/compiled languages
  • Proven track record of collaboration with a variety of decision-makers to drive impact
