Job Summary

An education technology company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Python Software Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Build well structured and documented RESTful APIs
  • Ship code from your laptop to classrooms frequently and confidently
  • Build data pipelines that respect privacy and ensure security while offering useful insights

Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • 3+ years experience with server-side development preferably in Python
  • Strong CS and software engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with database technologies (modeling, ORMs, tuning)
  • Experience deploying production systems in the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Strong communication skills in writing, conversation
