Remote Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A software development firm has a current position open for a Remote Senior QA Automation Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Perform risk analysis and strategic planning to determine the priority of test implementation
• Develop robust, performant, and reusable test automation across our public facing applications and backend APIs
• Integrate automated tests into the build and deployment pipelines

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of work experience in software development
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or Typescript
• Experience collaborating with developers on test automation scenarios, by pairing and coaching on testing best practices
• Experience in architecting and implementing test automation solutions and frameworks for sophisticated back end systems
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with test automation tools for backend integration and E2E testing
• Experience developing test automation in more than one of these formats: web, unit/component, contract or API
