Job Summary

A company offering an online music database, marketplace, and community needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior React Native Frontend Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Develop well-tested and observable mobile applications in partnership with the UX team, using the Component library and Design system
  • Understand and assist the team in understanding popular mobile device technology, constraints, and features, staying informed of industry trends
  • Own the Mobile Application platform and build process, including publishing to platform-specific app stores

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Proven multi-disciplinarian, senior-level engineer with interests in mobile technology, design, and usability
  • Familiarity with the nuances of publishing iOS or Android mobile applications, and love to dig into performance and usability metrics
  • 7-10 years related responsive web or mobile development experience
  • 2–3 years of experience with React Native
  • Expertise in client-server communication technologies and APIs (for example, REST, GraphQL, WebSockets)
  • Expertise in the publishing process of applications to marketplaces (for example, App Store Connect, Google Play)
