Job Summary
An e-commerce community needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Recommendations Engineering Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Participating in defining and achieving Objectives and Key Results for your team
- Defining the roadmap and supervise its execution. You will connect and coordinate business initiatives and team priorities
- Leading teams to build great products
Qualifications for this position include:
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
- Broad knowledge of machine learning lifecycle (e.g. feature & model selection, training, optimization) and learning-to-rank problems
- At least, 3+ years of work experience as a direct people manager supervising senior engineers and technical leads
- 5+ years of overall technical experience, including design and implementation of data-centric or ML-focussed consumer-facing products
- Proven industry experience in driving product experiences that combine UX and machine learning
- Experience in managing agile ceremonies and optimizing for efficiency
