Job Summary
A managed healthcare and insurance company is in need of a Remote Senior Registered Nurse Specialty Benefits Clinical Analyst.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Filing reviews in response to questions posed by the Claim organization
- Providing short clinical consultations with claims specialists and others
- Providing analysis of clinical data pertinent to medical underwriting
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (active in the state of practice)
- 5+ years of clinical experience
- Proven ability to document interactions and manage activities (diaries) in accordance with departmental standards
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to established service standards, volumes and turnaround times
- Proven ability to accurately track all types of medical referrals (RN & MD) in the database
- 3+ years of clinical review experience in the evaluation of disability, critical illness, and other Financial Protection claims
