Job Summary
A financial services company is in need of a Remote Senior Regulatory Tax Analyst in Kansas City.
Must be able to:
- Utilize Tax Institute tax law interpretation on moderately complex federal and/or state tax issues
- Perform independent research, and analysis on moderately complex federal and state tax and form changes
- Monitor and analyze defects and requirements to determine effects to current practices
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years’ experience as a tax pro or tax researcher
- Knowledge of tax research principles, procedures and techniques
- Ability to effectively research moderately complex tax issues and effectively communicate findings
- Ability to interpret, analyze and correctly formulate solutions to moderately complex tax situations
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
