Job Summary
A consultation service provider is in need of a Remote Senior Research Data Scientist.
Must be able to:
- Evaluate the structural health of railroad assets by applying machine learning techniques
- Plan and manage own work with minimal supervision but high accountability
- Build end-to-end pipelines for asset maintenance planning
Position Requirements Include:
- In-depth experience with predictive model training and deployment using Python ML libraries
- Proficiency in Python or R. Ability to write complex SQL queries
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in deep neural networks and other predictive techniques
- PhD Degree in statistics, computer science, structural engineering, or related field; or, MS Degree with 5+ years of relevant industry-level experience
- Experience with statistical analysis, regression modeling and forecasting, time series analysis, and data mining
- Familiar with cloud services data analytics platforms and machine learning solutions
