Job Summary

A consultation service provider is in need of a Remote Senior Research Data Scientist.

Must be able to:

• Evaluate the structural health of railroad assets by applying machine learning techniques
• Plan and manage own work with minimal supervision but high accountability
• Build end-to-end pipelines for asset maintenance planning

Position Requirements Include:

• In-depth experience with predictive model training and deployment using Python ML libraries
• Proficiency in Python or R. Ability to write complex SQL queries
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience in deep neural networks and other predictive techniques
• PhD Degree in statistics, computer science, structural engineering, or related field; or, MS Degree with 5+ years of relevant industry-level experience
• Experience with statistical analysis, regression modeling and forecasting, time series analysis, and data mining
• Familiar with cloud services data analytics platforms and machine learning solutions
