Remote Senior Research Economist

Job Summary

A non-profit research institute is filling a position for a Remote Senior Research Economist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Leading project teams, including managing communication with study sponsor, study design, budget, and timeline
• Leading collaboration with a study sponsor to design a study that is appropriate for the sponsor’s objectives
• Leading and contributing to the health preference assessment scientific literature and mentoring team members in developing scientific stature

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• PhD in a quantitative social-science field
• Experience in leading survey-research projects
• Experience leading and mentoring research teams, managing research project budgets, timelines, and compliance with ethics and other procedures
• Quantitative research experience
• Proficiency in the design and analysis of discrete-choice experiment surveys and other stated-preference methods
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
