Job Summary
A biopharmaceutical medical research firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Research Scientist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing technical guidance and expertise to mentor junior staff on data analytics workflow
- Building capabilities to analyze large data sets to enhance in-process attribute and product understanding
- Supporting development of data analytics strategies to enhance control systems and inform specifications
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ph.D. in Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics or related discipline with 2+ years of industry experience in Data Science
- Master’s Degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics or related discipline and with 8+ years of industry experience in Data Science
- Bachelor’s Degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics or related discipline and with 10+ years of industry experience in Data Science
- High School Degree and 14+ years’ experience in Data Science
- Strong scientific writing and presentation skills
- Experience with the use of data visualization tools (i.e. Spotfire, Tableau)
