Job Summary
A restaurant supplier needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Restaurant Database Reliability Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Protect, preserve, and ensure the availability of the data
- Triage and resolve database performance problems
- Identify project opportunities and lead them through implementation
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server
- Understand relational database theory and implementations
- Have setup, configured, and supported SQL Server Always On Availability Groups
- Ability to provide technical leadership to the less experienced members of the team
- Ability to document and automate processes to eliminate time spent on recurring tasks
- Ability to build and maintain self-serve tools for application and database developers
