Job Summary

A retail company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Retail Data Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Mentor team members in software delivery within Data in an Agile Environment
  • Own solution across entire life cycle while utilizing strong problem-solving ability
  • Make data more discoverable and easier to use for Data Scientists, Analysts and Other Product teams across the company

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or
  • Equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in data software development, using data technologies
  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Python (Preferred), Scala, C++, or Java
  • Strong SQL language and relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, DB2, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehouses
