Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Senior Revenue Cycle Business Analyst in Atlanta.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Analyzing and assessing Revenue Cycle reports, workflows, and processes
- Assessing the business use and functions of Revenue Cycle application systems providing recommendations for optimization as necessary
- Supporting and assisting employees in assigned area(s) in identifying and troubleshooting Revenue Cycle related problems
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance or a closely related field required
- Three (3) years of experience exhibiting advanced performance in physician and/or hospital billing revenue cycle required
- Advanced knowledge of third-party insurance, and familiarity with insurance plan types; HMO, PPO, POS, and Indemnity
- Excellent knowledge of Government Programs, including Medicare (CPT, ICD coding/ reimbursement, and Medicare Fraud & Abuse regulations), Medicaid and Tricare Programs
- Possesses thorough knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Possesses advanced knowledge of Revenue Cycle Systems
