An academic medical facility is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Revenue Cycle Coder in Galveston.

Must be able to:

  • Conduct the quality review of outpatient coding
  • Work coding related charge review and claim edits daily
  • Research and resolve any and all coding related issues

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Three years of medical billing or related experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Or related training from an accredited agency
  • Be proficient in coding Inpatient Professional, Outpatient Technical and Professional and Procedures
  • Have experience with training and education for coders and providers in the area of proficiency
