A software development company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Ruby Developer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Tracking and communicating release progress
- Tracking and managing backlog, burn-down metrics, velocity, and task breakdown
- Educating and reinforcing scrum methodologies and agile framework to the development team and key stakeholders
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of programming experience with Ruby/Rails, Python or equivalent
- 1+ year serving as scrum master or position with equivalent experience
- Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts
- Development experience implementing integrations with third-party REST services
- Development experience defining, developing and maintaining REST based interfaces
