Job Summary

A technology and marketing company is seeking a Remote Senior Ruby on Rails Back End Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Build one of the industry's most innovative platforms used by top brands
  • Be involved in all parts of the product lifecycle
  • Code, ship, and continuously iterate

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Experience turning complex monolithic applications into modular/microservices
  • Confidence in Ruby on Rails/Sinatra
  • AWS experience including CI and CD, Amazon S3, RDS, EC2, SQS, IAM and Route 53
  • Solid experience with relational databases and NoSQL
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RSpec + Capybara
  • Experience with database optimization, data modelling, and building data pipelines
