A recruiting firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Ruby on Rails Developer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Building essential tools for teachers, professors, parents, and students
- Designing and developing full-stack software applications
- Scaling applications as user base continues to grow
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- BSCS or equivalent degree or experience
- 5+ years of professional full-stack web application development experience
- 4+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails Development
- Modern JavaScript Framework (such as Angular, React, Backbone, Knockout)
- Experience with PostgreSQL, HTML/CSS and familiarity with Memcached or similar (ideally 1+ year of exp.)
- An appreciation for the best Agile practices including continuous integration and unit testing
