Job Summary

A developer of modern fleet management software needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer in Birmingham.

Core Responsibilities Include:

Working closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other engineers to plan, design, and implement features in the core areas of our platform
Collaboratively designing and architecting features, refactoring as necessary
Writing elegant and performant code

Position Requirements Include:

Strong experience with Ruby on Rails
Experience solving challenging architecture problems with good design
Experience scaling fast-growing software products
Proven strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
Experience with data-modeling and optimizing query performance
Experience working with modern JavaScript/ES6+ and unit testing frameworks
