Job Summary
A telecommunications company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Ruby on Rails Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage the backend coding of all business logic, UI/UX APIs, and related systems
- Quickly learn the codebase
- Contribute code meaningfully within a short timeframe
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 6+ years hands-on development experience in Ruby on Rails
- Extensive experience on billing, asynchronous, and rapid-scaling systems
- Experience working on large distributed systems
- Proven ability to generate specifications from business requirements and execute these on-time
- Experience working in a remote environment and communicating effectively with global team members
- Leadership skills and willingness to support direct manager with team needs
