Job Summary
A software developer is in need of a Remote Senior SaaS Site Reliability Engineer in Austin.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Anticipating and communicating blockers, delays, and cost ballooning across teams, before they require escalation
- Taking ownership of decisions made across multiple tribes by helping them make clear decisions in alignment with PD goals, backing decisions made, and taking responsibility for their success
- Providing effective input to technical discussions / decisions that impact the company’s ability to deliver quality engineering solutions
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3+ years cloud experience
- 2+ years container orchestration
- 2+ years cloud automation experience
- Ability to consult and assist with implementation projects for any tribe in PD
- Ability to drive observability work across multiple tribes based on the PD's observability approach
- Ability to deliver infrastructure enhancements with minimal technical assistance
