Job Summary
A transportation company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Sales Executive in Chicago.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Proactively generating leads and soliciting high-value shippers, including contract freight opportunities
- Focusing on building relationships with high-level executives
- Managing multiple priorities and maintain the flow of business information with a sense of urgency
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must have at least 3 years of truckload sales experience
- Experience and ability to build a $1.5M to $3M in gross profit book of business
- Entrepreneurial sales approach as there are no set territories
- Aptitude and appreciation for selling in a fast-paced and competitive environment
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and follow-thru abilities
- Strong work ethic with a team mentality
