Remote Senior SAR Underwriter

Job Summary

A reverse mortgage provider is in need of a Remote Senior SAR Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Underwrite FHA insured Jumbo HECM loans and other proprietary loan products
• Work directly with investors to resolve loan exceptions, escalations, underwriting questions, etc.
• Perform mortgage documentation, collateral and credit analysis on files to determine completeness and accuracy

Qualifications Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent minimum; real estate/mortgage banking courses helpful
• Direct Endorsement (DE) certification with active CHUMS ID and SAR
• 3+ years' experience underwriting HECM (Reverse) loans
• Minimum 3+ year's current FHA underwriting experience (investor required)
